When you compare prices, you will see that our iglidur Q3E plain bearings at €2.91 per piece are three times more cost-effective than metal plain bearings with a POM gliding layer. iglidur Q2 plain bearings also perform better in comparison. Metal-polymer plain bearings cost more than twice as much as Q2.

How do our two-component plain bearings work?
The two components of are firmly joined together via injection moulding. This manufacturing process makes them a particularly cost-effective alternative to other bearings for heavy-duty applications.
Inner layer
The inner layer consists of an iglidur sliding surface that guarantees low friction. The incorporated solid lubricants guarantee regular lubrication of the bearing point and thus make regular maintenance work superfluous.
Outer layer
The outer jacket provides mechanical stability for the plain bearing. It is made of an extremely strong plastic and ensures that the plain bearing operates smoothly even under extreme loads and adverse conditions.
