Welding and gluing robots are a key component in the automated production of electric and hydrogen drives. These precise machines are characterised by high manoeuvrability and speeds. In order to keep up with this, the individual components installed must also fulfil certain requirements. Energy chains, which are assembled on the outside of the robot, should be movable but at the same time reliably protect the cables and material hoses even with a small bend radius. The energy chain should also be easy to open so that cables or media hoses can be replaced quickly.

Our service starts even before installation:

• Retrofitting your existing machines as a system partner
• Retrofitting condition monitoring or predictive maintenance to igus products
• Our energy chains are also available as ready-harnessed systems, e.g. 7th axis, charging portals
• After installation: regular inspection and maintenance of your energy chain and condition monitoring systems
• At the end of the life cycle, we take the energy chain back and recycle it
